Teaching Methodolgy

The Kindergarten teaching methodology follows a play-based, activity-oriented, and child-centered approach. The focus is on developing cognitive, social, emotional, and motor skills through interactive learning. Here are the key aspects of teaching in Kindergarten in our school.

Play-Way Method

Learning through games, storytelling, and role-playing. Use of puppets, toys, and interactive activities to make learning enjoyable. Activities like block building, sand play, water play, and pretend play to develop creativity.

Montessori Approach,

Encourages self-paced learning through hands-on activities. Focus on practical life skills, sensory development, and early literacy/numeracy. Use of Montessori materials like counting beads, alphabet trays, and puzzles.

Theme-Based Learning

Lessons are designed around themes like seasons, festivals, animals, or community helpers. Activities are integrated across subjects (e.g., a theme on "Animals" might include storytelling, crafts, and related science facts).

Experiential Learning

Hands-on activities such as clay modeling, drawing, painting, and gardening. Field trips and nature walks to help children observe and explore the environment. Cooking without fire, simple science experiments, and interactive storytelling.

Phonics-Based Language Learning

Introduction to English and other languages through phonics. Songs, rhymes, and interactive phonetic games to enhance vocabulary and pronunciation. Focus on early reading and writing skills.

Numeracy and Logical Thinking

Physical and Motor Skill Development

We use use interactive smart boards, storytelling apps, and digital learning tools. Technology is introduced in a limited, age-appropriate manner.

Assessment Pattern

Teachers assess students through observations, worksheets, storytelling recaps, and oral interactions. Focus on continuous and comprehensive evaluation The teaching approach ensures that children learn in a stress-free environment while developing essential skills for primary education.
