A child’s education is not only important in the sense of learning the concepts of the given subjects, but also matters more as it shapes the way a child will grow up in every sense of the word. I am who I am because of my education, and I still remember the little things in my life as a child. A teacher’s love, affection and a sense of appreciation, I remember every single good thing that happened to me in school, and a few which I would like to forget.
Therefore, it’s important that I take this responsibility that I have with an outstanding level of sincerity and affection. I became a teacher to shape young minds, and I remain a principal to do the same. Every single student in S. B. Sharma World School isn’t merely a name or a role number; it’s an entire life that we take responsibility for as long as they are here.
We aim for all students to be happy and to be challenged in a supportive and safe environment by :
- Developing well rounded internationally and locally minded individuals who demonstrate resilience and determination to succeed.
- Equipping students with the skills and academic success required to access new opportunities and enhance their life chances.
- Consistently insisting on high expectations.
- Developing an inspirational and flagship school community that engages with all parents and relevant stakeholders.
We understand our role in their life, and we understand that every small decision that we make will have huge ripple effects on every student of ours. As a result, my role means so much more than what it entails. I'm not merely an educator or a principal of this esteemed institution. I'm one of several cogs in the wheel that this country's future depends on, and our students are our utmost priority. Nothing would make us happier than seeing them succeed, as their success is our success and their future will be ours to live in.
I look forward to welcoming you to ensure the best standard of education and personal development for your child.
I would like to leave you with a quote by Elizabeth Warren that has stuck with me
ever since I read it: “A
good education is a foundation for a better future.”
